Unique Midsommar Awards

2009 Midsommar participants are eligible to receive awards in a number of categories. Most of the awards are presented based on Car Show judging and Road Rally results. This year's additional special category awards include recognition for the most miles driven along the Route 66 course traveling to Midsommar.

This year's awards are truly unique. The design is by Don Mackey (1800 jockey) and crafted by Dick Jobe (PV444 owner) and the great folks at Machinehead Art Fabrication Studio. The design features a rustic-finish iconic Route 66 highway sign on a silver-hammered -finish steel mount that displays the individualized award designation and awardee information. Approximately 9 inches high by 6 inches wide, the awards are very distinctive art pieces that each lucky recipient will certainly be proud to display.
